Project categories describe the kind of work or support being requested. Use the top-level category that best matches the buying need, such as Aerial, Underground, Fiber Placement, Splicing & Testing, Engineering & Design, Construction Management, Permitting, Inspection & Compliance, Materials & Equipment, or Other Telecom Support.

Some categories use service-scope selections. These are best for work such as engineering, permitting, closeout, inspection, documentation, and other support where a crew count is not the right measure.

Crew-based categories ask for quantities, units, and crew counts. Use these when the project owner needs field crews, construction production capacity, or measurable installation work.

Before publishing, review the public project detail page and make sure the category, scope, location, schedule, and application questions describe the work clearly enough for a qualified company to decide whether to apply.
